As is customary for everyone, I feel I should make a few New Year's resolutions as well. Of course, there's the resolution to lose some weight and excercise more! There's also the resolution to have more patience with my children and husband. And then there's the resolution to manage my time more effectively. I have been told that I really have things figured out or I wouldn't be able to raise my children and have published a book and do everything else I do. The truth is, I don't do it. I get on these tangents. I will write until I'm burned out on that story. Then I will read until I can't read anymore. I'll cook until I don't feel like every cooking again. Do you see a pattern here? So my resolution this year is to manage my time more effectively. To spend only an hour or two writing, an hour reading and an hour cooking. So that way I can get it all done without getting burned out. And maybe, just maybe mind you, I'll get more done!!!!
Running for her life, Bri finds herself in a situation she cannot escape-under the power of Adam Prestwich. Returned to the clutches of her money-hungry family, she tries her best to endure the petty cruelties and indignities inflicted on her by her family and her betrothed. When the abuse becomes too much, she must rely on her friends to save her even though she has done everything in her power to drive them away. Adam Prestwich is keeping secrets. Owning a title he'd rather not acknowledge is the least of them. Falling in love with a woman he despises quickly becomes the worst of them. When the actions of her family once again place her in his care, he must distance himself to avoid an entanglement that would cause nothing but misery.
I really enjoy this book! It was the first one of Jaimey Grant's that I read, however, it is not my favorite! Still, it is well written and worth reading! You'll enjoy it!
So, now, how to enter. Leave me a comment on my blog and tell me your New Year's resolutions! I'll close the contest on the last day of the month and announce it (hopefully) the first of February! (Make sure to leave an email address or some way of contacting you if you win!)
