Clean Romance 4 You

What flavor is your kiss?

January Contest

As is customary for everyone, I feel I should make a few New Year's resolutions as well. Of course, there's the resolution to lose some weight and excercise more! There's also the resolution to have more patience with my children and husband. And then there's the resolution to manage my time more effectively. I have been told that I really have things figured out or I wouldn't be able to raise my children and have published a book and do everything else I do. The truth is, I don't do it. I get on these tangents. I will write until I'm burned out on that story. Then I will read until I can't read anymore. I'll cook until I don't feel like every cooking again. Do you see a pattern here? So my resolution this year is to manage my time more effectively. To spend only an hour or two writing, an hour reading and an hour cooking. So that way I can get it all done without getting burned out. And maybe, just maybe mind you, I'll get more done!!!!

Running for her life, Bri finds herself in a situation she cannot escape-under the power of Adam Prestwich. Returned to the clutches of her money-hungry family, she tries her best to endure the petty cruelties and indignities inflicted on her by her family and her betrothed. When the abuse becomes too much, she must rely on her friends to save her even though she has done everything in her power to drive them away. Adam Prestwich is keeping secrets. Owning a title he'd rather not acknowledge is the least of them. Falling in love with a woman he despises quickly becomes the worst of them. When the actions of her family once again place her in his care, he must distance himself to avoid an entanglement that would cause nothing but misery.

I really enjoy this book! It was the first one of Jaimey Grant's that I read, however, it is not my favorite! Still, it is well written and worth reading! You'll enjoy it!

So, now, how to enter. Leave me a comment on my blog and tell me your New Year's resolutions! I'll close the contest on the last day of the month and announce it (hopefully) the first of February! (Make sure to leave an email address or some way of contacting you if you win!)

December Contest

I LOVE this movie!!! I chose this because 1) I LOVE Sandra Bullock! 2) This is a MUST SEE Christmas movie for me 3) My birthday falls in December and so I wanted to give you something I LOVE and 4) Because shortly after this first came out, my friend and I stayed up ALL NIGHT watching it over and over!! (We had a slight crush on Bill Pullman!) But I simply love this movie and wanted to share.

So, contest rules. Email or talk to five of your friends or family and mention my book, By Love or By Sea. Have them e-mail me rachelrager(dot)romance(at)gmail(dot)com and let me know that you talked to them. And leave me a comment or email me, telling me who you talked to. As soon as I receive a confirmation for the five, you're entered! If you talk to more people, let me know and you can enter more than once!!! (And if you already have it because you know how AMAZING it is, it makes a great gift!) How fun! Because of all the holidays, the contest this month will be shorter. The deadline is December 20th.

Happy Kisses!

November Contest

The book for November's contest is...

I first was turned onto the retelling of fairytales a couple years back. I devoured them. I'm so used to Disney's retellings that I figured that's the way the stories went. And I have never actaually read a lot of the originals. But I ran across retelling and fell in love! This is a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, and I love that story anyway. This was artfully done. The heroine in this book is not really all that beautiful, and perhaps that's one reason I love it so much!

This month is November, and while this isn't a book on Thanksgiving, to enter, just leave me a comment and tell me your favorite Thanksgiving memory. I love memories and love hearing about other people's too! So tell me what you love the most about Thanksgiving, or a favorite memory, or whatever you want to tell me about Thanksgiving. The contest will end November 30th at midnight and I'll post the winner on the December 1st.

I have also included a contest list on my sidebar of my blog so you can click on it to find the contest post each month. I look forward to hearing from you! Gobble, gobble!

October Contest

Halloween Contest!

I realize it is almost Halloween and I'm a little late with this but I thought it would be fun anyway! Since Halloween is on Saturday, I thought I'd give away a free book!

I adore this book! It's one of my favorite Halloween books about a young girl who learns to be happy with who she is!

All you have to do to enter is leave me a comment on my blog about your favorite Halloween, your favorite Halloween candy, or anything you want to share with me about Halloween!

I'll close the contest November 4, 2009 at midnight. Best of luck to you and happy spooking!
